265: EMI Days with John Leckie and Friends

Renowned producer John Leckie has been a friend to me and to SATB in recent years. He’s returned for a new conversation, this time bringing along a couple of colleagues who also worked at the Abbey Road facility with The Beatles, Roger Ferris and Nick Webb. What ensued was a delightful hang among guys who’ve known each other for decades, recalling working in support of The Beatles alongside staff like George Martin, Norman Smith, Emerick, Scott, Townsend, Parsons, Thomas, Spector, et al.
