03: With The Beatles Live at the BBC 2
In this show, Richard and Robert discuss the group’s second album, released fifty years ago. They also talk about the new release of the Beatles Live at the BBC volume 2, as well as a bit about The Korgis and the show’s theme song.
Beatles are fag, so are all the British!
Funny how some people need just a few words to prove their stupidity. I am sure America is proud of you son
No,we’re not, sir.
I’m with you Robert re Not A Second Time – it is a magnificent record that has always been in my top 5 Beatles songs – simple but genius. LOVE the vocal by John, the fills by Ringo & the piano solo by GM. CRIMINAL that this was never again performed by the band. John’s double-tracked vocals overlapping quite a bit on the outro!
LOL – TWICKEN HAMMM – SO North American to pronounce it like that – like BIRMING HAMMM
Always wondered why “Don’t Bother Me” wasn’t played live on The Beatles tours and “Roll Over Beethoven” was. You’d THINK that
1) George would want to perform his own stuff live at Beatle concerts.
2) That they’d be sick of Beethoven after doing it for so many years.
