  1. Wow. Great pod.

I don’t know if the Richard thing was meant lightheartedly, but I hope it was.

Thanks for a great year. The shows, “Acoustic Beatles” (128, 129) with Dave Mirkin may be the best ever.

Did he play that acoustic walrus by himself ?

    1. 1) It’s what we podcast professionals refer to as a “joke.”
      2) You’re welcome!
      3) Thanks. Because they were taped in 2017, I didn’t count them – you have to cut off somewhere.
      4) That was Laurence Juber actually. I didn’t have a recording of Mirkin playing it.

  2. Thank you! Your podcasts are brilliant, fun, and and, taken as a whole, seems to me, an important contribution to the Beatles story, up there with some of the best Beatle’s literature. But for those of us who can’t listen online but need to download it as an mp3, are you still offering the mp3 downloads? The episodes seem no longer allow this option.
    Just wondering.
    Take care,
    a fan of the show

      1. thank you Robert. And I’m sorry, because I could download it today from my home laptop. When I was unable to download it, I was at work using a college network, so maybe that was why.
You’re conversations, insights and cool often funny full musical interludes are so amazing. I also really enjoy seeing these drawings you have for each episode. It’s a beautiful touch.
Thank you so much for sharing such an amazing thing!
        Mike
